It was a nice stay at North Ranch. An expensive one too. One Razor, one truck and one lot. We’re officially broke. Might have to go to work for Amazon somewhere down the road. Where’s that Visa card? We will be back here probably for New Year’s.
One adventure ends and another starts today with being on the road again. We have a nice trot down to Ajo about 150 miles south. Carol will be driving the Mariner and I will be towing the truck/razor behind the Beast.
Well, we started off with one tail/brake light not working on the truck. Jiggled the cable with no luck. Down the road we went.
Next stop was Gila Bend for lunch at the Dairy Queen. They have a large area around back for big vehicles. After lunch it was time to check the truck lights again. Carol drove the car next to the Beast and I plugged the car up to the Beast. No right side lights. That’s good and bad. It’s not the tow vehicle lights. Hooked the truck back up and went down the road.
We arrived about 12:30 or so. Earline (sp?) and Jerry had just arrived from Congress too but only in their car. We jaw jacked for hours. We got a tour of Marlene and Frank’s 1.6 acre place. It’s real nice with plenty of parking for about 6-8 rigs. Some hook ups too. We choose to boone dock in a pull thru. I unloaded the Razor and Carol and I went for a run. We went for about a 20 mile run. BLM land is all around. This would be a nice place to have a small ATV get together. Frank said bring them on. They’ve already have had a few get togethers. They even have a separate building for socials. It’s Marlene’s Line dancing hall. Marlene fixed up some diner for all and we B.S.ed for hours again. Later that night I found out that the check valve on our fresh water system was leaking, about 40 gallons. I put a band aide on it and will try to fix it tomorrow. Let’s see. Now a tow electrical problem to fix and now a water problem. I’m also suppose to take Earline and then Marlene out for a Razor ride. Hey guys. Jerry said something about possibly getting a Razor. Help him out.
Tomorrow I will get some pictures of Marlene & Frank’s place.
