GONE CAMPING! YEA…….

We left Livingston in our CAMPER about 8-8:30 AM with 200 miles of back roads to go.  We headed Northwest and ended up on route 287 and spent most of the mileage on it.  It was a nice road that went from two lanes to four lanes off and on.  Of course it went thru those small towns along the way.  Very soothing.DSC_0002DSC_0003

I saw this camel as we went by.  I turned around and went back.  It’s nice having a camper that we can make turns in just about any road.DSC_0008

Here’s looking at you….DSC_0009

Lake Tawakoni…

DSC_0030We chose this water and electric site.  They had FHU sites but this one was what we wanted.  We had a site, no neighbors, and one real nice view.  We didn’t even hook up the water, just the 30 amp.

Night time was great…..DSC_0034

The weather was great.  The wind was around but out site/camper was setting where there was no wind.  Sometimes you get it right.  this was it.

Retirement is the time to go camping all the time. Well, how about RVing all the time.

See ya somewhere……
