Alaska Day 32 Arrive Homer Spit

The 40 mile trip to Homer from Ninilchik was a very pleasant drive. But first we had some eagles that wanted to say good bye. I shot these just before we left.

My favorite eagle spot ……goodbye again…

Upon arrival at Homer we needed to dump and fill with water.  No problem.

Then our sites on the water. $15 no hook ups but who cares with views like this at the water front.DSC_0055 DSC_0056

This place has the best seafood that Carol & I have ever ate anywhere except maybe Phillips's Crab House. Man was it ever good. DSC_0065

What do you do if you need to work on your props?

Low tide of course.  That’s our rigs to the right.DSC_0063

Then there is the Salty Dog.DSC_0070

Larry & Marilyn liked this place. Those are $1 bills.DSC_0071 DSC_0072

AND to top all of this off we had an earthquake and the rig only bounced for a minute or so. We thought the jacks were screwed up at first.

So just another ho hum day…

See ya……..
