Window Tour

The other day we decided to go to Julian, CA via back roads in the hills in the car.  Sure am glad we were in the car because the road got small and a lot of sharp curves.  We did a window tour of Temecula.  A window tour is like a drive by.  You just look thru the windshield as you go by.DSC_0008DSC_0012DSC_0006DSC_0007DSC_0010

Just another tourist town for sure.  Bumper to bumper.  A tour bus aggressively squeezed me out of my lane at the end of town.  He was a very aggressive driver.  I called his charter company and let them know about his driving.  It probably wasn't the first time this driver endangered his passengers.  His tactic of  threating other drivers will catch up to him.DSC_0016

They had a major fire here back in 2003 or 2004 I think.  It was a bad one.DSC_0039

Found some deer out in the grasslandsDSC_0040

Then it was on to Interstate 8 to 15 and back home for us.DSC_0044DSC_0045

We had gone about 200 miles and was gone about 7 hours.  It was nice to run thru the mountains even thought it was tiring.

The cat really missed us, right?  She’s a little bit bigger than her house.DSC_0001

Retirement is the wife telling you what to do.  Kinda like being at work and not getting paid.

See ya when we see ya……..
