Time To Move

We have been at the SKP social site area for 6 nights.  It’s literally next to I-10 and yes we heard just about every vehicle all night long – it was time to move to a quite place.  We moved east of town just north of exit 19.  It’s called Park Place RV Resort.  I saw a coyote run across the open field across from the park.  I couldn’t get my big “whale” lens out quick enough to catch him.  You all have seen them before so just use your imagination. The park has large sites and full hook up for $25.  Hey it would have cost that much probably for water, dump and a lot of laundry.  Oh those long hot showers - priceless  We used about 10 gallons of water a day as it turned out.  We ate out a lot. The normal places are Silly Al’s, Taco Mio and the Grubstake.  All have a lot of character that’s unique to each one.  And who hasn’t been to the Yacht Club?  We even snuck in a subway one afternoon.  We can do this when we are near town.  DSC_0324

Here’s looking to the left of our rig.  Nice wide roads in this park.  They might be familiar with RVers and their driving abilities.  A lot of California tags.DSC_0325

We went into town to the Roadrunner Grocery Store today also.  It’s on the east side of town. It’s has OK prices on produce, milk and beer. Then we went south to MM 99.5 to find an area for next weekend.  Wow, we found our same area we have had for the past three years and it was vacant.  I left some male scent to claim it.  Tomorrow we will move our rig out their and put our unofficial official claim to it.  See ya……………
