Today I figured I would get out and see some of the local area, not downtown Vegas.
I drove up to Henderson. Not much there, just a town with a few casino cheap meals.
Then I went over to Lake Mead on the Vegas side. Didn’t want to pay the park entrance so I left.
I figured look up self car wash on my 4 year old GPS. It seemed to go all over the map but did get me to a self car wash. It was kinda run down but still worked. I spent about $3-4 and got a wash that is kinda OK. Nope, didn’t wipe it down.
Got one of those 4 for 4 lunch deals at Wendy’s. Don’t think I will do that any time soon. The double hamburger just wasn’t that good nor the nuggets. That leaves the fries which were really good. A soda is a soda.
I now had a 1/4 tank of gas so I figured it was time to get back. Gas goes for about $2.50 a gallon around here.
The cat and I are doing fine. I watch TV and eat. The cat sleeps and eats.
Retirement is thinking of things but not working.
