When RVers come to Quartzsite there’s one place they all seem to try to eat at. Yes, Silly Al’s.
It’s crowded, noisy and dim. Yes, it’s one of those places RVers don’t stop at unless you know the reputation of their pizza. It’s among the best. Either that or your drunk from all the beer.
We go up on the side walk with the Jeep and park. So did Bob and Tami. Ed & Sandy are with them. There’s a wait to get a normal parking place usually.
We had to wait outside to get on the “LIST”. Then we were inside and on the “LIST”.
Then we got a table and had to wait for the beer.
Finally the pitchers beer came and we didn’t care how long we had to wait after that.
The two large mixed pizza’s came, I think. A couple of pitchers of beer and I’m not sure if it ever came.
We had a blast for our annual outing at Silly Al’s.
It was windy (10-20 MPH) but the sun was out and sunny. How about in the 50’s during the day and 40’s at night. A lot better that last year for sure.
Retirement is being able to eat at Silly Al’s.
See ya when we see ya.
