Now it was time to finish installing the GPS on the bike. That meant tying down the chord from the battery to the GPS. No problem when you lay on your back and tie it to the frame underneath. This is preparation for our (Mark) 2,000 mile trip in two weeks. The weather will dictate our direction at the beginning. It will be interesting to say the least. No blogs for the 8-10 days. I will have a journal to refer to for a big blog upon our return. Ooooops no tie down straps….it will have to wait another day.
Today was NASCAR day.
These fly boys/girls at this base are really giving us a show. I didn’t tell anyone we would be here but I guess they found out so let show begin.
Did you know that a wood pecker hardly makes any noise when he pecks on a cactus?
Tomorrow we go to La Mesa RV to get some minor body work redone that Winnebago factory messed up as it turns out. Maybe have them check out a jack that is leaking just a little bit of fluid. Maybe our electronic front door lock too. We shall see.
