Jon, Ed and I took the women to 4 B’s restaurant for a Mom’s Day breakfast. It got pretty crowded and the service reflected such. Everybody agreed the food was OK, but not outstanding. Since we all drove everybody went their separate ways to get things done.
Oh, it was snowing when I got up about 4:30 AM and continued until about noon or so.
The ground was still warm so it really didn’t stick at all. It was snowing side ways at times.
I tried to take the kitty out but she didn't want anything to do with anything wet. She ran back into the rig.
Here comes Butch and Kathy Ford. They left Baltimore, MD this past Thursday and arrived today Sunday. Only 2,200 miles in 4 days. Butch & Kathy don’t know it but they were in the same campground Saturday night in Blackhawk, SD as another Loosey Goosey member couple, Frank & EJ. Theirs paths will meet again next week in Dawson Creek, BC.
Controls for fully automatic levelers on their new 5th wheel. Same same on our Winnebago.
Everybody getting acquainted. Since it was about 7 PM and cold (low 40s) everybody retired to their RVs.
It’s 5 AM Monday, my birthday and it’s 28 degrees. They are four guys with birthdays in May around here. Ain’t that something. That’s a lot of bull.
They’re are four Loosey Goosey RVs here now and we all leave Wednesday morning. Then later on we will meet up with another Loosey Goosey member near Calgary and maybe one or two more some where in the days following.
