They Left - Finally

The rift raft left.  Now let the party begin.  Only kidding.  Ed & Sandy left about 9 AM this morning.  We had to pull out to let them leave.  While we were out we stopped at the office and got LP in the RV at $2.49 a gallon.  They charged us tax.  A Texas Flying J tried to charge me tax on  LP.  I said no, it’s not taxable being an off road fuel.  The manager agreed and we didn’t get taxed.  I wonder if AZ really doesn't charge for off road fuel LP either.

Here comes Ed & Sandy leaving the park.DSC_0001 DSC_0002 DSC_0004-001

Here are friends saying goodbye one way or another.DSC_0009-001

We returned to Ed & sandy’s lot and took over.DSC_0004 DSC_0003  DSC_0001

Yes, the Harley trike is out.  It’s way to windy to enjoy a ride.  My foot is well again so I rode it around the park.  Susie even got on and rode around with me.  She enjoyed the ride.

We went over Denny & Susie’s for dinner and met Jack there too.  As always we had fun.

Tomorrow we drive 90 miles to La Mesa RV in Mesa to pick up our slide out locking rods and two extra keys.  The locking rods are Winnebago’s answer to repair our large slide from going out going down the road.  I call it a jerry rig for poor quality slide out mechanisms that have been replaced three times for other problems.  The keys we ordered as we lost one and now only have one.  This key operates everything to include the ignition, front door, compartment doors, fuel doors and engine door.  Yes we need at least two.

Yesterday, this birthday boy ordered a HJC full face helmet and an induction cook top burner.  They should be delivered by Friday.  I did a little research and found out that HJC makes helmets for Harley Davidson so the size and quality should be the same just half the cost though.

See yea……

See ya………….
