Hold On Here We Go

At 7:15 we are in line waiting to get in and eat a Cajun breakfast with a Zydeco band playing. The town is Breau Bridage.

Sure – go ahead ….

I think some where actually sleeping before the music.

Here’s are bartender who served us Bloody Mary’s at 8 AM.  Looks like he hasn’t been to bed in several years.

A typical Cajun breakfast – eggs with crawfish et to fay (sp), grits with sausage in it and Zydeco music.

 

Let the music begin. The band is in the background in the window.

Denny & Susie were trying to bring back the Waltz.

Wait a minute – here’s another couple waltzing.

Still waltzing but having a good time.

Bob would like someone to kiss his butt and get this “stuff” off his britches.

Then on the way home we stopped here.

    

Which way do we go? Which way do we go….

Lunch Time in New Iberia.

First it was a pat down.  We told the girls they were getting on an airplane……because the food was out of this world. They sure did volunteer quick…!

Oh are we in heaven or what? 

Was it the atmosphere, maybe the people?

Or the food.  What do you think? A crawfish Poboy…

   

 

  

Then we all went home – again…..

Then it was dinner time….

These girls will ride anything!

Now we are taking Cajun – 5 lbs of those little bug eye things.  I was the only one who got crawfish.  I had crawfish for breakfast, lunch & now dinner.  Why stop?

  A couple of hours later I was done….

I think they all got tired of me and crawfish….

I asked Susie earlier if they wanted to go out for some crawfish ice cream.  I guess her answer was no….

Maybe not a normal day but a fun filled day was had by all.  Tomorrow we move to Betty’s where we really get active – oh yes we do!
