It was hard only driving 12 miles to our next stop which is the North Pole. Yes, this is really the North Pole. Getting to the campground was pretty easy.
Here we are. FHU 30 AMP, cable TV, free WiFi, $35.05 for Good Samers.
They decorated their laundry room appropriately.
Now it’s time to go to the North Pole and pick up our mail. Where’s Santa Claus? I can’t see him or Russia!
Here’s a fake Santa….notice the barbed wire. I guess they don’t want anybody to to get to his butt.
I found him. I guess he don’t wear his outfit during the summer.
Santa’s RV Park is officially closed.
Now it’s social time again…the girls were playing with colored string.
We went to the Pagoda Restaurant in North Pole. This places knows how to prepare and present food. I would go back but would not eat for three days before hand. Great food – fair prices. Makes sure to split any meal at least.
Tomorrow we go down the road for about 180 miles to some BLM land.
See ya……….
