160 mile drive and we are at Denali RV Park & Motel ($35 FHU 30 AMP cable & WiFi) which is about 7 miles north of Denali Nat Park. We are here so we can do the tourist thing which includes Cabin Night Diner Show (tonight), ATV rides, Jeep rides all in the back country. Then a few might take on the rapids here.
The drive here was a nice quiet one.
It’s still together and looking good.
This is my kind of igloo. Place has been out of business for years.
These little tourist things are all in about a two block area.
The “gang” having our social hour and briefing on future events that we will be going on this week.
Cabin Night Diner – family style meaning they bring the food and use pass it around. All you can eat and it is brought to the table on large plates. Entertainment was corny and fun. We did it before on previous trips up and we knew everybody would enjoy it.
Tomorrow is 2 1/2 hours on ATVs in the back country. Carol is even going to drive one like some other of the women. This will be something.
