We all pulled out of Lethbridge about 8:30. The morning portion was real nice with no wind and sunny.
We remember passing this farm in 2009. It just kinda sticks out for some reason.
We found this rest area in a nice little community which it’s name escapes me because I don’t care.
The wind was howling by now. I don’t know how they kept that little 36 footer and 40 footer on the road. I didn’t know the wind was blowing that hard until they told me…..smile…
Down the road a few miles…our park.
We got out of the Beast and there was some dirty snow still left over.
We’re at a Passport America Alberta Beach Golf RV Park for $18.50 full hook up (30amp). We decided to stay one night and move on in the morning. Dawson Creek is about 325 miles.
Ain’t we cute? We were the parks first customers for arrivals going on to Alaska. Marilyn fixed the main course for us travelers today…thanks.
We paid $4.28 gal (converting everything – U.S. dollar not worth a dollar up here anymore..) for diesel in Edmonton at the Flying J today. Now that ain’t too shabby all things considered.
