We left Dawson Creek Milepost 0 about 8 AM this morning and went 214 miles. We found a permanently closed Provincial Park and we all (6 RVs) made it home for the night. We had pull thrus, back ins etc. We are about 1/4 mile off the Alaska Highway. We are very proud of ourselves finding this little place. It's located 217.2 from Dawson Creek and the coords are 57.97112N and 122.7773W if you are ever in the area. The road getting here was pretty good with a couple of rough spots but nothing major.
How often do you see this, aGreyhound pulling a trailer? Pretty common up here.
We’re getting closer to these mountains. Tomorrow we go thru them.
Here’s are spot for the night. It was great. Just us.
Sharon…what are you doing up their in woods by yourself.
Is that Carol trying to wade across there in the middle?
Then later getting ready for our campfire and it was a nice one. A lot of dead wood around.
Mary and Marilyn wanted to know how Sharon got Don to bring her drink. Don & Sharon are still on their honeymoon (under 5 years). Don must be still in training.
A very quiet night with a slight breeze thru the trees and water running from a river in the distant.
