Today was a little busy day. We took care of a few little things like ordering a base plate for the Jeep. I had to call Demco Hq and found that there was no Demco base plates for a 2012 in Utah. They hooked me up by arranging to send me one directly but via a Salt Lake RV dealer (paperwork/pay). Demco doesn’t deal with the public as far as direct sales but this was as close as you could come.
We got a call a call from Denny & Susie and they were stopping by to see us. We arranged to meet at a Wal-Mart. When they arrived we showed them our orange Jeep of course. They were happy for us. We then stuffed them in the back seats and went to Applebee's to eat and talk. We tried to talk them to come to Hatch but it wasn’t working. they wanted to head on to Moab. We will meet them there later after the HOP. We took them back to their rig and we went back to ours.
Here’s a fire that’s burning around Salt Lake City.
Someone asked us what model of Jeep we got. Here’s the answer.
Late that night we got a surprise. A heard of horses were around our rig. They apparently got lose and the cowboys were trying to wrangle them up. they were walking/trotting around the park. We had a lot of tenters around us and they too got a surprise. Probably bigger than us because the horses were right next to their tents. the cowboys finally got the horses to go where they wanted and all was quiet again.
See ya.
