Out & About in Moab

The cat said she was tired of looking at all of these brochures. DSC_0001

They like blending in.DSC_0002 DSC_0003

Waterfalls out here?  Yep…DSC_0004

That’s Ken’s Lake (reservoir) and their campground down there.  We took the truck up the mountain.  It’s the first time we had to use 4 wheel drive low in the truck to get up and down the hill.DSC_0014

Here we set looking out on top of the hillDSC_0008

Then on the other side we found this trail.  We decided it was best not for the truck.DSC_0015

This little guy was waiting for his picture then took off.DSC_0021

There are about 4 more behind this guy.DSC_0024

Home home on the range…Kinda…how about a buffalo in your front yard.  I wonder if he is better than a goat for trimming the grass.DSC_0026

Later that day we got our mail.  It had our new small camera in it.  I will have to read the directions sometime in the future.  It’s more complicated than I thought.  It’s a Nikon Coolpix S4300 ($92 super good price).

Tomorrow we hit the trails – easy ones this time and will have the small camera.  It will be in a freezer bag until we are ready to take a picture.

The temps have been hanging around 100 degrees.  We have all three ACs running and keep the temp inside the Beast about 75 degrees (for the cat).  It’s not bad out in the shade.  In the sun light you will cook quickly.

We are thinking about getting a Jeep Wrangler. It depends on how much of a hit we will take on the truck.

Fuel continues to come down in price – keep on going down……

See ya…
