We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel of course. It was only fair since we used their parking lot.
We got about 100 miles down the road and decided to go to Thousand Trails Horseshoe Lakes above Terre Haute, IN. Then we decided to stay probably two nights. It’s been at least more than 5 years when we were here last. I think we first met Nick and Terri Russell here even years before that. Pocket Mail was popular back then. It was a means to communicate which has been replaced several times over.
175 miles and we arrived at the park. No problem checking in and no problem finding a nice site. It’s a 30 AMP FHU. Cost is our annual dues with 2 weeks in and then 1 week out of the park system.
Man there are plenty of geese here. You can tell after a walk by looking at the bottom of your shoes.
Turtles aren’t messy and they’re good in soup.
They had some heavy rain in here yesterday but today was a beautiful day.
See ya……
