Alaska Day 51 Winnie Dealer & South

We started off by being at the Winnebago dealer here in Anchorage for our 8 AM appointment.  Nice place.  After about an hour and a half and them calling Winnebago it was decide that our large full slide out needed a complete gear/motor mechanism on one end.  They said the parts would be in 7-10 days and I said OK.  We will return to Anchorage when they call us.  We left and headed south on the Seward Hwy.  We arrived here at…..DSC_0046

Very nice…paved roads and very large sites.  $9 a night with the old fart pass.  No hook ups.  We beat the Krutys and Fords here by about a half hour.

The route here was beautiful.DSC_0026 DSC_0039

Carol & I decided to go & do the Alyeska Tram in Girwood about 20 miles away.  That’s the top way up there.DSC_0048 Then the view down near the topDSC_0056

You can hike it if you wish.  Not this boy!DSC_0059

The views were endless.DSC_0054

Yes that’s a para glider in the picture.DSC_0061 DSC_0105

They’re were about 7-10 of these para gliders up here.  They could glide for ever I think.DSC_0064 DSC_0067 DSC_0071 DSC_0076 DSC_0077  DSC_0096

The Tram itself was well worth it.  One of the highlights of being up here for us.  The para gliders just made it even better for sure.

Another day in Alaska…..

See ya…..
