Oh, I forgot to mention yesterday we are in Lakeside, OR on the West coast. Highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s this week. We will be here for 5 nights.
For those who are interested my next fuel stop will be Wilsonville, OR at $3.74. Then I will need another 20 gallons to make Twin Falls, ID where diesel is in the $3.70 range. That will get us into Gillette, WY. Planning our fuel stops will save us at least $50 from here to Gillette. Yes, it is worth it to us.
This morning we broke bread with our neighbors.
Then we were off to the Coos Bay area south of us. Lots and lots of sand dunes.
She and her little ones didn’t even speed up their pace to get across. I guess you can say they were like ducks out of water. We stopped and watched them waddle across the road at their pace.
