During our evening walk we saw an invasion of tenters in this RV Park. We’ve been camping for over 40 years and the last 12 on the road and we have never seen this many tents anywhere. Hundreds of tenters and they are everywhere. Unbelievable. We walked thru the middle of their encampment and it was very apparent we were the minority. It was like walking downtown little Mexico. It was a gala event going on. The great smell of food cooking outside was all over the place. Little kids running all over in the dusty dirty grounds and dogs barking. The only thing that was missing was the street vendors asking you to buy something. Pictures tomorrow. We returned to the RV area on top of the hill with the old farts I mean folks.
Earlier we went to Home Depot and the 99 cents store. We got ant traps and Ajax to ensure we wouldn’t get invaded by the ants again. We have only see a few inside the Beast so far.
If the can stuff don’t work then I use a hammer to kill those little ant devils.
I got on the roof and patched Newmar’s seal on the front cap that broke loose. I did a pretty good job this time. I used a rubber roof repair patch material. The stuff is the rubber roof material with real sticky backing. It should hold until November.
The last couple of nights I’ve done the cooking on the grill and we have ate outside. It’s very nice out so why not.
See ya…..
