I went back to bed at 5:30 AM. I never did get warmed up until then. Carol screamed when I put my cold feet on her. There went them brownie points. We got up about 7:30 and the sun started to rise shortly there after.
Here we are parked at the pole. Nobody else around us yet!
Denny/Susie and us are off to La Mesa’s for a free breakfast. Pancakes & coffee. Hey, it’s free!
Then we all went window shopping for little things that we couldn’t live without. Of course 9 AM in the morning and shops are still closed.
The Hippy Dippy Weatherman says the next 5 days will be cloudy with temps near 70 degrees and nights about 40. Then we will get close to 75 degrees for next week and nights staying around 40 degrees. Hey, that’s the best weather for Quartzsite in many years. Come on out to Quartzsite and bring your sun glasses, shorts and Speedos we’re gonna have a party. Well, maybe not the Speedos. Happy Happy Happy!
Sandy & Ed arrived later in the day and we are ready.
Carol and I went for a little 11 mile ride on the side by side RZR ATV. We went out to where we thought the Boomers would be. Nope, not a one out there. Oh well.
That evening we all went to Silly Al’s for beer and pizza. Johnny Goodman the singer met us there too. We had a real good time. At least what I remember. Not sure if it was old age or the beer.
We even talked Johnny into singing which wasn’t really hard.
Johnny loves to sing the oldies and has a very big Escapee following along with his other followers. He will come out to the desert next week and entertain us all. I promised him a Texas smoked pulled pork sandwich like last year. He loves my pork sandwiches.
We all got home back to our rigs and the sky was beautiful.
See ya…..
