Where Are We

Well, here are some clues.  If I say Betty’s and you don’t know, then you haven’t experienced the web.  If you do know then you know how hard it is too pass up the opportunity to get back into Betty’s web.

New RV Update:  Lazydays was telling me our new Winnie would be in around the 18th.  I figured between the between this Monday & Wednesday (7th-9th).  I got my figures based on me being a transporter of new RV’s for three years.  Well, Monday afternoon we get the call from Lazydays.  Your coach is here!.  We told them we would arrive Thursday afternoon and they said it would be ready Friday morning.  I asked that the pre delivery inspection (PDI) be done (duhhh) and the paint be inspected very carefully and then completely polished like before.  I was told no problem. OKkkkkkkkay.

We were going to leave Betty’s RV Park in Abbeville, Louisiana Thursday morning.  Then go to the Escapees Park the Plantation (200 mi) for three nights but now will leave Wednesday morning since it’s a 900 mile jaunt to Lazydays.  Hopefully it will be an exciting time at Lazydays like it should be when someone buys a RV.

Back to the present.  We returned to our favorite eatery twice already since being here.  It’s outstanding.  Not a pretty place in or out.  We didn’t come for the pretty look.  It’s called Bon Creole in New Iberia and they have great Po Boys (subs).  Man  Oh Man.  DSC_0032First I   had a shrimp half a sub. Man the shrimp were jumping out of the roll.  It was jammed with shrimp.  Carol had shrimp and corn soup.  She liked it.  Then we came back for dinner.  We went for it.  A soft shell crab 6” sub ($8.99).  It was to die for.  Each 6” sub had two large soft shell crabs in it.  The crabs were lighted breaded and deep fried.  Man Oh Man.  Here’s a sign they had up.DSC_0027

Here’s another place we will try to make it to.   DSC_0014 DSC_0027 DSC_0024

We were here in April of 2010 with some good friends that included Bob & Molly Pinner, Harold & Tommie Sue Hicks.  Notice Bob looking at Molly’s food.DSC_0003

Bob didn’t want anybody touching his food.  He was worse than an alligator.DSC_0004 DSC_0005
