Another rainy day. You know what that means? It means this weekend the rivers will be flowing up near Front Royal, VA. I checked last week and they were very low which means you have trouble kayaking any distance without picking up your boat and doing some walking.
Anyhow, I worked on our 2011 schedule for January thru mid May. I use Microsoft Streets & Trips. The reason for making the schedule is because we are going to be in a high traffic areas such as southern CA/AZ. This time frame campgrounds are usually full. We have several campground memberships and each one has different policies concerning time in, time out and time before making reservations not to mention the cost. Some are even free. So, I have to know when to make these reservations which are usually 90 or 60 with a few 30 days out to get what we need.
Rain more, the water is rising…
