We want to get on the road but we only have about 125 miles to go and not suppose to arrive until after 1 PM. The Lodi Fairgrounds are cutting the grass we were told which makes sense.
We got out of the city and on route 99 North. The wind was terrible. It turned out the longest wind storm we’ve ever been in. Thank goodness for a tag axle. the wind was moving tugging at the wheel a little bit but nothing like if we only had two axles. Love that tag axle to help us keep the thing straight while going down the road.
We arrived at the Lodi Fairgrounds. The wind was still blowing hard but the dust was gone.
The people that are here or will be here are what I call the preppers. They are the advance staff. They get everything prepared for the rally…duh. No rocket science just coordination now makes it easy later on for the arrivals.
It was a quiet night……
See ya…..
