This is the opposite of full timers weather here in Nappanee and a lot of the U.S.. Today (Sunday) we didn’t go above 45 degrees and tonight they said we could get into the 20s. Whoa there. It’s time to get out of Dodge and we got the wheels to do it. Tomorrow (Monday) Newmar has the Beast scheduled for a bath (water test) at 9 AM. We will be gone about 10 minutes after they finish checking for water leaks. We are going south for sure. Livingston, Texas weather is a lot better that this for sure.
This year a lot of the U.S. had heat problems and we were in the middle of that heat of 110 plus. We definitely didn’t aim for it and really never have. It just happened that way. We can and will leave this cold weather for now. Livingston gets cold but not usually much below freezing even in the the worst of the winter. We will be in Livingston until a day or two after Christmas. Then we head for Arizona for New Year’s with more friends.
NASCAR. Restarts were great. Too bad they had a major wreck on the last turn of the last lap that took out half the cars.
We have a flight Saturday for Carol leaving out of Houston flying to Baltimore. Her Mom needs help with her care. She’s been in and out of the hospital several times the last few weeks. Old person medical stuff. She really needs continued care.
Come next Sunday will be my last daily blog for awhile. I will start doing a weekly blog and publish for Monday morning reading. I want to do a blog about our adventures and not that I did a dump, washed clothes, washed the RV, weather, etc.. I just can’t get into that anymore. On the road, going places, doing things unusual or just a lot fun that’s what I want to blog about. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
See ya…..
