Day 21

Up by 6 AM and walking.  Not too bad. 

We id a lot of nothing  Kraig went up to the Activity Center and the pool.  Carol and I watched TV in the 100+ temps.

Kristy came over and the gang went up to the Activity Center.  I watched football all day.

Carol had the crock going earlier and we had pork loin for dinner.

Kristy left about 7 PM or so.

Oh no, zip line tomorrow night.

Retirement is sometimes watching TV.

Day 20

Our first night in the busy Las Vegas.  We were in bed by 9 PM and they were our beds.  It’s rough being old.

Ohhhh, I made reservations (5) for a Zip Line  Monday at for sure 8 something.  That will be an adventure for sure!  

Carol & I were walking around ….  before 6 AM.  Yes, its a small park.  AND Kraig slept.

Carol & Kraig went over Kristy's to do the wash in the early AM.  Wow, I was left alone for almost 8 hours.

The neighbor took his sewer pipe, disconnected his fresh water and stuck his sewer pipe up to the faucet to run clean water thru it.  I snapped this pic as he was walking away with his pipe.  Poop head…..

Carol came and got me for our home meal at Kristy’s place.  Mac & Cheese and Grilled cooked chicken breast was for dinner.  It was good of course.  Her boyfriend Jason and his 11 year old son Anthony was there.

Kraig got a haircut from Jason

We got back to the camper about 8:30 PM.

Watched a little TV and then went to bed.

Retirement -  like it’s about how life use to be.

Day 19

We left all the residents at North Ranch to feel the 100s again.  We were on the road by 8 AM.

Too much of something…….

Whoaaa.  Fuel prices are UP.

TTN Vegas… baby… Maybe this is a baby Roadrunner.  We saw two Roadrunners earlier today.

Together again.. bro & sis.  They look more like me right.

Retirement is like refreshing a tired memory at times.

Day 18

Time to go again.

We’re off to see ED & Sand, Denny, Susie at Congress SKP park.  All back roads.

Is that the SKP park?

Weeeeeee.

Little on the empty side.  It can’t be the hot heat.  Why are their at least 6 people in the park.

Ed, Sandy (above), Carol and I played a board game called Fast Track.  Of course, I was the Champion (I didn’t come in last place).

It was another quiet night.

Retirement is enjoying friends more.

Day 17

What, another morning in the wilderness?  Yep, just the morning then down South.

We ended up at TTN Verde Valley.

And the night was quiet.

Retirement is not saying much some time.

Day 16

We didn’t hear any coyotes last night.  I’m still waiting for what I think are real nature sounds at night.

Kraig fixed Carol & I breakfast which was real nice.

Carol & Kraig walked and drove the Jeep to the Tower Nice views and some tourist shopping.   I was there yesterday.

It lightly rained off and on during the day.  The temps  stayed in the low 70s.

Nothing real special other than enjoying the mixture of tourists and nature.

What’s that for dinner? 

Retirement is waiting for something to happen.
